Absolute Black granite is, as its name suggests, the deepest shade of black that exists in granite. It is also one of the hardest known granites, measuring 7.0 on the Mohs mineral hardness scale.
Naturally occurring in India, Absolute Black granite is normally given a glossy finish when made into countertops. This makes the countertops highly reflective, but while a highly polished finish is appealing to many, anyone looking for a more aged, softer look should consider Mayfair Worktops new Honed Absolute Black Granite worktops. These highly durable countertops have a matte finish, which helps to prevent glare. What is more, because black goes with everything, you will not need to worry about whether the countertops will match your home’s overall colour scheme. Call or click today for an instant quotation.
